The Dimplex CST20 Castillo Freestanding Electric Fire is a contemporary-styled model and as such comes with white pebbles as a fuel bed (coals are also supplier for a more traditional look). Two heating levels, the maximum of which is rated at 2kW, and a the Optiflame effect, which can be used independently of the heat source, make this fire the centre piece of any room. It's freestanding and designed to go flat against a wall, so doesn't need any inset depth.
