The four HiLight cooking zones are evenly spaced out, keeping your pans separate, and range in power from 12 kW to 18 kW. There is also an extendable dual zone which can be used as a small 7.5 kW ring or a larger one with an impressive 22 kW power output. Whatever you’re cooking, you’ll be able to match the size and power of the zone to your pan.

Front touch controls give precise operation and the black ceramic glass surface is perfectly smooth, so pans can’t topple over and can be transferred to other zones effortlessly. Nervous or first time cooks will appreciate the simple and user-friendly design.

Handy Safety Features
Electric hobs are very safe as there is no gas being used and no open flames – ideal if there are small children around. A handy child lock stops curious fingers from changing your settings, while a residual heat indicator warns you when the hob is too hot to touch. There is also an automatic switch off that turns off the heat if it’s been left on too long.

Compared to gas hobs, less energy is wasted with a ceramic design as it directly heats the bottom of the pan without gaps. This AEG design also heats up and cools down incredibly quickly.
